![]() I have a bit of brand-spanking, sparkly-shiny news! I will have art at the Abstracted Gallery in MPLS later this month! Woo! I'll be showing several new pieces. Including one I'm especially dying to share with you all, but I can't. It's a secret. The photo to the left is a detail shot, but if you want to see it in it's entirety you'll have to come see the show. "Luck of the Draw: An Illustration Compilation" @ The Abstracted Show opens: Saturday, June 22nd from 6:00pm- Midnight 1618 Central Ave NE suite #110 MPLS, MN. The Abstracted is one beautiful exhibit space that's drawing in some of the most talented, skilled & inspired artists in the Twin Cities. I'm excited- and only a little nervous- about the prospect of sharing gallery space with some of MN's finest. And as an added bonus the two gentlemen, Joel Coleman & Jesse Golfis, who run the gallery are genuinely warm, kind people. They made me feel right at home in their space and I'm really looking forward to showing some of my best new work with them! Many of the artists in Luck of the Draw- except for the lovely and talented Ms. Amina Harper- I only know by reputation, but I'm looking forward to meeting some of them & maybe picking their brains a bit. If you'd like to see the entire list of participating artists, click here to visit the Facebook Event page. I do hope you'll come out and join me for this one. It promises to be a good time, and I can't wait to show you some of my most recent work & see what the other artists are bringing! Come find me and say hi! Best Wishes ~ Angel Hawari

![]() The first batch of Limited Edition Snail Eater prints came in Friday, and they are absolutely gorgeous! But I knew they would be. I use a local fine art print shop here in MPLS for all of my larger prints. And they do such great work that I keep going back to them. Numbers #1/20 & #2/20 have already found new homes, and I'll be shipping them out very soon. There are still 18 more to go. You can find the listing & buy one for yourself if you go to the 'Shop' page here where you'll also find many of the other prints I have available right now directly through the studio. Also, I'd like to extend a heartfelt 'Thank You' to everyone who's ordered Snail Eater prints. It means a lot to me that you like what I do enough to help support it. I hope your new artwork brings you much joy! Your prints should be arriving soon. I shipped out all current orders this morning! Keep an eye on the mail ;) Thank you! ~Angel ![]() Sugar Gliders are adorable little creatures! This one is clinging to my stiped vines representing the incongruent nature of our perceptions, and the globes represent our purest aspirations as self-aware creatures. This print is of a drawing I did in 2012 that is already sold. The image size is 12" x 12" with a generous white border. I've gotten a good bit of positive feedback about this one, and thought it was time to add him to my print catalog. Thanks to everyone who's already brought this little guy home! |
