Taking a break from art to sew
The last few months have been hard on my creative energy so I decided to take a break and make masks for my family, then friends,
and now for anyone who needs or wants them.
All my artistic attention to detail & craftsmanship has spilled over into sewing, and I make each mask by hand here in my studio.
Masks are 2 layer, 100% cotton with a nose wire and elastic straps you can adjust to fit you perfectly!
I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback about the masks I make. So I’m glad I took the time up front to figure out a design that would
address all the concerns I heard people talking about back in March. Please take a moment to check out the reviews people have
left on my Etsy shop. Their words speak much louder than I could, and it feels good to see they enjoy the work I do.
This down time has been nice! All the hours spent sewing is nurturing
a keen interest in textile art. Which is something I did not expect, but the vast
array of fabrics available, stitching techniques, colored thread, and more is
making me want to take this new medium in an artistic direction. I have only the fuzziest notion what
that will produce in future, but I’m looking forward to the journey. Stay tuned to see where this new medium takes me.
In the meantime, you can see the lovely masks I'm making in my Etsy shop here:

New fabrics pop up in my shop each Friday.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hope this finds you & yours very well <3
